Andersen Window Guide

Andersen windows are some of the most recognizable features in any home. Finding the right window can be a little intimidating, so we will break down some of the key differences. Andersen windows are available in five major series. They each have their own unique characteristics.

100 Series

The 100 Series Windows are made of Fibrex composite material. Fibrex is stronger and easier to maintain than vinyl. These budget-friendly windows are extremely energy efficient, blocking thermal transfer nearly 700 times better than aluminum.

The matte finish gives these windows a unique look. They are available in white, black, sandstone and dark bronze. The colors are guaranteed to last without fading, peeling, or flaking from extreme temperatures. The weather resistant qualities seal the window from wind and water.

200 Series

Unlike the 100 Series, the 200 Series windows are made of wood with a vinyl exterior.. These windows focus on their most popular sizes and options. The low-maintenance exteriors are weather resistant and long lasting. The three main 200 Series

windows are double hung, gliding windows, and picture windows. The exterior colors are white and sandstone, while the interior is available in white or natural pine. This cost-effective wood option is a great value for your home.

400 Series

The 400 series windows are also made of wood with a vinyl exterior. This is the most popular series of windows and doors from Andersen. These windows are built to last, resisting water and sealing out the natural elements. There are many more options in

terms of style for this series, such as bow and picture windows. The interior colors are also expanded, available in natural pine, white, dark bronze or black.

A-Series

A- Series windows are designed with an architectural style in mind. These carefully crafted windows will be the focal point of your home. Every detail is meticulously cared for, right down to the hardware. There are plenty of options to choose from when

selecting your windows. With a wide variety of wood species for the interior, your windows will have a custom look. The fiberglass and composite exteriors won't fade or peal and resist the elements that cause serious issues.

E-Series

The Andersen E-Series provides a limitless amount of options for windows in your homes. All of the standard window types are available as well as specialty custom windows. There are over 50 different colors as well as any custom color you may

choose. The E-Series has many different exotic wood species for the interior of your home. The exterior of the window is made with aluminum to protect your home from the elements.
